This past September I gave my “What’s Your Everest?” talk to about six hundred sixth, seventh and eighth graders at a suburban Rhode Island school system. The teachers followed that up with an essay contest by the same name. I was flattered when the principal called me and asked if I could provide him with copies of my book “Lessons From Everest” for the winners and if I would be interested in presenting the awards at a whole school assembly. I jumped at the chance. “How cool is that”, I thought.
